Short, because the files are cheap and the rules are simple.

VIP downloads
The VIP files (Flark's Frontier Cookbook and the Map of the Uncharted West) are digital downloads delivered instantly after payment. Because they can't be returned once downloaded, all sales are final and we don't offer refunds on digital downloads.
The exceptions
We'll happily put things right if something went wrong on our end:
- The file never arrived. Check your spam folder first, then contact us with the email address you used at checkout. We'll resend the link, and if we can't get the file to you, we'll refund you.
- The file is faulty. If a PDF won't open or is corrupted, tell us and we'll send a working copy or refund you.
- You were charged twice. Send us the two receipts and we'll refund the duplicate.
Requests for these exceptions should reach us within 30 days of purchase.
Books
Paperbacks and Kindle eBooks are sold by Amazon. Returns and refunds for them are handled by Amazon under Amazon's own returns policy, not by us.
Free files and the mailing list
The free files cost nothing, so there's nothing to refund. You can leave the mailing list at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
