Specializing in character-driven satirical historical fiction, his ability to blend humor with history and narrative depth is part of what makes his writing unique.
Kit is an adult with autism. The traditional 9-5 has always been trying for him: the noise, the small talk, the rules nobody writes down. Writing, on the other hand, his one true passion, has always come easily to Kit. In his stories, he gets to set the tone, build the world, and create the rules.
When not writing silly stories, Kit enjoys swimming with ghosts, tinkering on his time machine, and trying to get his cats to listen to him.
Kit Green lives on the South Shore of the Detroit River with his partner Dana, and their two crazy cats, Mimi and Luna.

The Loomis & Flark books are tall tales in the old American tradition: a narrator with a twinkle in his eye, two heroes who have no business being heroes, and a version of the 1860s in which every great moment happens by accident.
They are, to be clear, wildly inaccurate. That's the joke. If you catch yourself checking a date, you've already lost.
Book 1 is out now. Books 2 and 3 follow in 2027, and Kit is already at the desk working on what these two get wrong next.
